This is the most basic resource allocation strategy available in aftonApi and is the default if no other resource allocation strategy is specified. Simply put, when submitting queries to ask for resources drawn from a pool of resources, the most fundamental of which is the pool of resources defined simply by the resource type, aftonApi uses the pecking order to select which resources are allocated first.

Pecking order is honored in descending order. Resources with higher value pecking orders are assigned over resources with lower value pecking orders.
